Make sure your iPhone is updated with the latest iOS to insure that it has eliminated any previous bugs in the later iOS. This can be done by hooking your iPhone to your your computer, open iTunes and check for iOS updates.
iPhone No Sim Solution #2
Restart the iPhone by holding the home and power button together at the same time for 10 seconds. This normally eliminates any temporary glitches.
iPhone No Sim Solution #3
Remove your Sim tray from the iPhone using a paper clip/ needle. Generally after a drop or a large bump the sim card will move itself within the tray causing it to short out or causing the connectors to not line up. Also take the sim card out of the tray and and make sure there is not dirt in there either. You can also blow into the sim card slot on the iPhone to remove any dust or dirt that may be blocking the connectors. Then insert the sim card back in, it can take a couple of minutes for the sim card to register.

Check if your service carrier has made any updates. To access Settings> General> About it there is an update a download prompt will appear.
iPhone No Sim Solution #5
Toggle Air Plane mode off and on as it sometimes tricks the iPhone to thinking it has no sim card.
iPhone No Sim Solution #6
Restore your iPhone on iTunes. Click on your iPhone icon when plugged into iTunes and go to restore. If you do this make sure your iPhone is backed up as YOU will loose all data, media, contacts, pics, and so on. This puts your iPhone back to factory settings.
iPhone No Sim Solution #7
In some cases there is a design flaw on the sim card tray causing the sim card contacts to touch the metal tray causing a short circuit. As a result, the phone stops recognizing the sim. This can sometimes be fixed by placing a small amount of tape on the sim card as pictured below.

This is not a big issue on the phone. Just remove the sim card from your phone and gently rub it with a soft piece of clothe or cotton and insert it again into the port. Then power on the Phone . Visit brother tech support if you get no solution from this tips.
