iPhone 6 and 6Plus has Zoomed in – How to Fix
There have been several reports of the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6Plus having zooming issues when using. Some of the symptoms are that its locked in zoom mode no matter what App is running or what task is being done. This also applies to the lock screen where the zoom is locked. Below are some steps that will hopefully help the zoom issue on the iPhone 6.
Step 1
With any issues or problems with any iPhone it is always recommended by restarting the device as if it were a PC or Mac. This can be done by holding down the lock and home button simultaneously for 10 seconds until the iPhone reboots back up. This should eliminate any temporary glitch that may have occurred.

If you have accessibility features turned on for your iPhone it can be easy now and again to activate these on accident. For zooming you can using 3 fingers to double tap on the screen and also the same to turn it off. You can turn off Accessibility Features by going into Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom > Off. From there you will have control over
- VoicerOver
- Zoom
- Invert Colours
- Grayscale
- Speech
- Text
- Bold Text
- Contrast
- Reduce Motion
- Labels
Step 3
If the above steps have not worked, check for any new updates from Apple that may fix a glitch that may be specific to a certain iPhone. This can be done by going into Settings > General > Software Update > Check for Updates.
Step 4
Another successful solution is by changing the size of the text which has been associated with zooming problems. To adjust text go into Settings > Display & Brightness > Text Size > Choose desired size.
